Overview

Pascal Tabara, Esq. | Attorney admitted to the Fribourg Bar

After being born and raised in Châtel-Saint-Denis, I completed my entire university education in the canton of Fribourg. After earning my law degree in 2023, I worked for three years at the Cantonal Court before founding my law firm in 2026.

These experiences, on both sides of the bar, have given me a deep understanding of how government agencies operate—knowledge that I am eager to put to work for you.

Frequently Asked Questions

What happens during the first consultation?

During the initial consultation, I’ll ask about your situation and the challenges you’re facing. Please feel free to bring any documents you think are relevant to your case to the first meeting. They’ll help me analyze your situation in greater detail.

After briefly explaining the legal framework of your case and the issues it raises, we’ll work together to develop a strategy based on your needs, taking your financial resources into account. I’ll then put that strategy into action.

My standard hourly rate is CHF 300, including tax. This rate increases to CHF 400, including tax, in cases of emergency or for work performed outside of regular business hours.

For certain matters, particularly the drafting of a divorce agreement, I charge a flat fee. This fee is determined based on the complexity of your case.

In all cases, I will ask about your financial situation during the initial consultation to determine whether you are eligible for legal aid.

The answer to this question depends on the nature of your case and your specific personal and financial circumstances. We’ll gather this information during your initial consultation. If your financial resources are limited, please feel free to schedule an appointment so we can discuss it.

No. Due to professional rules, it is not possible to schedule an initial appointment remotely, as an attorney must be able to identify their client. For a follow-up appointment after an in-person meeting, a remote consultation is possible.

There is no single answer to this question. The answer depends on the type of proceeding, the conduct of the parties, and the caseload of the courts. The duration can range from a few months to several years.

Certain events can further slow down the proceedings, such as the filing of appeals during the proceedings.

I strive to draft pleadings without requesting extensions of time. This is not always possible, depending on the complexity of the dispute, and requires your cooperation.
